John Monnecka offers up a total package rarely seen among
contemporary singer/songwriters. As technically skilled a guitarist and musical
arranger as any great in the business, his edgy and soulful, baritone vocals may
arguably be richer. And then there’s the passion. From his smouldering,
blues-infused, acoustic guitar work lasting up to four hours without a break, to
the most gut-wrenching love song poured out as though a private confession, it
is John Monnecka’s passion as a live performer which defines the core of his
music.
