Went to Hailey’s on a whim because my colleague wanted fish n chips from an Irish Bar. We didn’t end up getting that but we got some AMAZING Philly cheese steaks that were out of this world! They were juicy, cheesy, with just the right amount of peppers and spice. Chris, the really friendly owner, also gave us some Irish gravy, which I think were Jameson and gravy which were delicious on everything. Definitely worth checking out and will venture back later when its actually appropriate to order something from the bar ;)

Dear Hailey’s Harp and Pub,

We had a fantastic time on Saturday night.  Thank you so much for everything.  I can tell you that many of the guests came up to me and asked how we found Hailey’s and expressed great interest in coming back.  They loved the atmosphere and the food.  We will continue to push informal group outings there and do what we can to keep spreading the word.

Thank You

To Everyone at Hailey’s,

Just a quick note to thank you all for the great party you provided for us on Saturday.  The personalized assistance, friendly and courteous service, and delicious food made my wife’s birthday celebration such an enjoyable and memorable occasion.  All of our guests were extremely pleased with everything and were very complimentary of your restaurant and excellent staff.

Again, many thanks for a fantastic job!

Cheers,
Steve O’Neil

Dear Pat,

I just wanted to let you know what a great time I had last night.

Your appearance at Hailey’s Pub was the best thing ever for fans of yours.

The town of Metuchen has a car show every Wednesday night, so coming down to Metuchen to check out the cars, check into Hailey’s Pub and something to eat, and then getting one of the widest arrays of music is a WIN-WIN-WIN.

We heard old Smithereens tunes, rarely played, we heard some of your solo things, we heard stories about the songs, we heard some really interesting cover tunes (who ever thought that PARANOID by Black Sabbath could be a tender love balled ?) plus a couple of BRAND NEW Smithereens songs!  Who could ask for more in such an intimate setting for fans.

I’m going to let others know what a really great concept this is, having this happening Wednesday nights in May, and hope to see you there next week again.
